Biography
Arietta Henrietta Sechiari (1867–1942) married London banker Ambrose Nicholas Argenti, whose family ran a large expatriate Greek trading company in the city, in 1890. Henrietta and Nicholas had three children together: Marigo (1891–1975), Virginia Marietta (1893–1981) and Nicholas Andre (1896–1961). The family moved to Picts Hill House in Turvey, Bedfordshire, in the late 1890s and divided their time between here and London.
