Biography
Rachel Ann (née Fryer), born in 1845, was the daughter of Joseph Jowitt Fryer and Rachel Coates. She married banker Edward Blackhouse Mounsey in 1878 in County Durham and they had five children together. Rachel was a member of the Darlington Essay Group. She died aged 81 in 1927. ; Rachel Fryer (née Coates) was born in 1806 to George Coates and Hannah Whitewall. She had seven siblings including Hannah Coates. In 1836, Rachel married John Jowitt Fryer, aged 30. She later married Joseph Howitt Fryer and they had daughters, Rachel Ann and Sarah Amelia. She died aged 45 in 1852.
