Biography
Miss Mary Ellen Brighty (b c.1874) of St Helen’s, Lancashire, became a Church Mission Society missionary in 1899, aged 25. She trained at The Olives and served with the Persia Mission from 1899–1937, where she was stationed at Yazd.
