Biography
Born in 1814, Susanna Arethusa was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Gery Cullum, 8th and last Baronet of Hardwick House, and Mary Anne Eggers. In 1832, she married politician Thomas Milner Gibson and they had two children. Susanna was a liberal activist and feminist. She died in 1885 at the age of 71 in Paris, where she spent much of her time.
