Biography
She was born on 18 July 1931. She was married to a brickworker for London Brick and was the daughter of a brickworker. She speaks about the hard labour that her dad had to do when she was young, and the process of some of the work. She talks about her father taking Italian immigrants' luggage in his lorry and his friendly relationships with the Italian and Polish immigrants. Her husband drove lorries carrying bricks for London Brick. She lived in Stewartby and Marston Moretaine and worked in the village hall at Stewartby cleaning with her husband before he died at the age of 64.
