Biography
Isabella Twysden (1605-1675) was the youngest of three daughters of Sir Nichola Saunders of Nonsuch and Elizabeth Blount. Isabella took a job as a Lady-in-Waiting to writer Anna Twysden in 1633, and in 1635 she married Anna’s son, Sir Roger Twysden, who was later punished and imprisoned for his outspoken opinions. Isabella had three sons and three daughters with Roger. She died in 1657 in Westminster.
