Biography
Henrietta (née Skene) was born in Old Elvet in 1806 to an Irish father, Andrew Philip Skene, and his wife Henrietta James. She married Colonel William Trotter, Esq of Bishop Auckland, in 1830 and they had nine children. Their son, Henry John Trotter became a barrister, railway director and Conservative politician. She died aged 65 in 1872.
