Biography
Henrietta (1784–1848) was an Anglo-Irish philanthropist and political hostess. She was the youngest daughter of William Willoughby Cole, the 1st Earl of Enniskillen, and his wife Anne. Henrietta was well educated and when her mother fell ill in 1802 she was placed in charge of Florence Court. In 1805, she married Thomas Weddell de Grey, Lord Grantham, and became Lady de Grey. They had five children together, only their eldest two surviving into adulthood. Henrietta had a close friendship with Sir Robert Peel, and was engaged in political and religious discussions of the day.
